TNT is Dynamite!! Go Team!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
My mission is to help the society raise as much money as possible so that the society can continue its programs and continue to assist others in need. I will be participating in the Team in Training program (TNT)and walking in the Mardi Gras Marathon on February 17, 2002. The most valuable part of the Team in Training (TNT) program is that you have a patient that you sponsor as your honoree. I am walking in honor of Gregory Kyczynski of North Ridgeville, Ohio. Gregory is nine years old and loves to play soccer. He also loves gym class in school. Gregory also has Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) and was diagnosed with it when he was just three years old. ALL is the most common form of leukemia among children under 15 years of age. Half of the new cases of this disease occur among children 2 to 3-year-old children. Gregory is very fortunate and is doing very well in his treatment. I have committed to raising $3,300.00 to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in its battle against leukemia, which is the number one cause of death in children between the ages of one and fourteen. Please help support me in this project by contributing generously to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Your contribution will fund the research being done to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. Training for a marathon is a challenge. But my challenge is nothing in comparison to the challenge that Gregory and other patients have to overcome on a daily basis, battling this disease. Please join me in spirit by contributing. Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up. Please complete the sponsor form found in the "donate" tab and send back to me with your tax-deductible contribution. I really appreciate your support. |
